VENTURA COUNTY SPORTFISHING CLUB POLICY FISHING TRIPS
The intent of this policy is to establish procedures for VCSC charters. This policy is based on, and authorized by the Ventura County Sportfishing Club Bylaws, and is subject to change by majority membership vote.
A deposit of 50% or more of the cost of the charter is due at least 45 days prior to the trip.
a. If the balance of the trip is not paid in full within 45 days of the trip, the reservation will be cancelled, and a refund of the deposit will only be made if the angler or Chartermaster is successful in locating a replacement. Note; it is the angler’s responsibility to keep track of the payment date.
b. If the balance has been paid in full and a cancellation is requested, the full deposit will be forfeited, and no money will be refunded unless the reservation is resold prior to the departure of the charter.
c. Moneys deposited with VCSC will be forfeited for no shows after initial boarding.
