2026 KIDS TRIP RAFFLE FUNDRAISER!

 

Dear VCSC Member and friends!

Our fundraiser for the yearly Kids Trip is upon us!

Every year we take 30 local kids from foster homes, on an unforgettable ocean fishing adventure aboard the “Californian”.

For many, this will be their very first time on the water. The funds we raise helps cover the $4000+ cost to charter the boat, provide the kids with tackle, lunch, all snacks, their fish processing and memories that will last lifetime. Your support in this raffle is what makes this trip happen!

Last year, we had a big group, every child caught fish, with over 500 fish landed in total. It was a fantastic day for everyone involved.

 

We’re fully funded for this year’s trip — hooray! — but we’re already gearing up for next year’s trip in 2027! That’s why we’re selling raffle tickets now.

It takes a full year of fundraising to make each trip possible, so we always kick things off in June/July.

If each VCSC member, family or friend(s) purchase tickets – we will have a very successful fundraiser. Tickets are only $5 a piece!!

Knowing this is a great cause for kids – we hope you buy $20, $50, $100 worth of tickets! If we can get 40 persons to buy $100 in tickets — the trip for the kids will “paid in full”!
