ABOUT Tucker McCombs

Tucker McCombs is the owner and operator of Ventura Harbor Sportfishing in Ventura, California. He purchased the business in 2019 with his wife Brittani, continuing a long-standing tradition of sportfishing in the region.

  • Background: Tucker is a seasoned captain and entrepreneur who took over Ventura Sportfishing from Greg and Teresa Ewart. Under his leadership, the company was rebranded as Ventura Harbor Sportfishing.
  • Fleet: He operates a diverse fleet of boats including:
    • Endeavor – a 60-foot Seaway vessel specializing in overnight and two-day trips
    • Pacific Eagle, Californian, and Island Spirit – offering a mix of full-day and half-day excursions
  • Experience: Tucker emphasizes exceptional customer service, top-tier fishing opportunities, and welcoming experiences for all anglers, from first-timers to seasoned pros.
  • Location: The company is based at 1500 Anchors Way Drive, Ventura, CA 93001, and also operates out of Seaforth Landing in San Diego for some trips.

PLEASE READ — LOCATION & POLICY CHANGE:

  • As part of our agreement with Black Bear, all attendees are expected to order at least one food item and one beverage from their reasonably priced menu, so if you’re a pie & decaf person — or love a full-on hearty,  homestyle meal – then come on down, enjoy a nice hot meal and enjoy the November meeting in a nice private room with a BIG SCREEN tv for presentations!

        • Speaker Presentation
        • 2nd Opportunity drawing
  • Wrap-up & Exit around 8:00-8:30pm-ish

** Our opportunity drawings are like door prizes.  It costs nothing, but we hope you will throw a little something in the club’s donation box to keep it going all year! Get your tickets when you arrive.

Come early and join us for dinner and drinks (5:30pm). We’ll be having opportunity drawings. A raffle to raise funds for a kid’s charter.  Announce what charters still have openings and more!
